What do I need to get an instant cash loan?
It is quick and easy; bring in a piece of photo ID along with the quality merchandise we are going to do a cash advance on.
What type of merchandise do you accept?
If in question about the merchandise we take in, it is best to call us and we can advise you. In general, we take new releases of Blue-rays and
CDs, cellphones, stereos, home theatre systems, iPods, laptops, computers, as well as gold and jewellery. We also take musical instruments,
and newer TVs and DVD players.
Do I need to bring in the remote or cables with my item?
If your item came with a remote, it should be brought in, as well as the cables or wiring required to run or hook it up.
Do you accept broken or damaged goods?
Unfortunately, we only accept complete, fully operational quality items for loans or purchase.
Can I take more than one loan?
Absolutely! There is no limit to the number of loans that you can do to fit your individual cash requirements.
How long is the loan good for?
Loans are for a full month period, allowing you to reclaim your item any time before or on the due date.
What if I do not have enough money to reclaim my loan before its due date?
If you find you are not in a position to take back your item on its due date, you can always pay an extension on or before the due date.
Can anyone else come in and reclaim my items?
Unless prior arrangements are made in person, the invoiced customer is the only one that can reclaim the loan merchandise.
Are there certain times during the day loans are done?
We do loans and purchases from our business open to business close.
Where do I park when coming into First Stop Swap Shop?
Parking is also available in the King Street Parking Garage located just behind our store. Three levels of parking are available with many
handicap spots, and your first hour is free.
How do you accept payment?
We accept cash, debit, e-Transfer, Visa and MasterCard
Is there a layaway option for purchasing items I can pay for all at once?
Yes we offer a 3 month interest free layaway plan. Ask for details.
Do you offer a warranty on goods purchased?
Yes because we purchase quality used merchandise, most items comes with a 30 day return policy. (Store credit or exchange)
Where are you located?
We are on George Street N, in between Charlotte and King Street. We are across the street from the Venue and beside Liberty Tax.
